James and Colleen Guskjolen

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website!

Please let me introduce ourselves. Colleen and I have been married for over 26 years and have one son, Joshua, who is married to Tyla. On November 20
th they presented us with a baby girl--our FIRST GRANDCHILD!!! Obviously we're psyched about this! Her name is Taija-Lynn (pronounced Tay ah). It is our purpose in life to spoil her. I'm taking that seriously! Already the credit cards are white-hot and smoking.

Colleen and I have enjoyed our life of ministry involvement. We have planted churches, served as missionaries and as District Superintendent of Saskatchewan. As well, James has served on various Boards with a number of different organizations. One of the other things we have enjoyed is having had the privilege of extensive travel. The Lord has blessed us with the privilege of teaching and preaching in Bible camps, leadership seminars, ministry retreats and missionary conferences throughout the world.

I (James) get a rush out of visioning and team-building. It is great to see what can be done then to put together a group of people that bring things to fulfillment. My thrill is to see people rise to a higher level of leadership than they thought they could and to do more than they thought imaginable.

Colleen has a strong ministry to women. It seems God has anointed her with the ability to see women grow into their destinies. She is a popular speaker and is able to quickly develop relationships with other women. I call her a “social butterfly” because she loves being with people. For her, life is a good reason to have fun.

Both of us like to challenge people to stretch themselves in faith believing that faith “has its payday”. Additionally, we enjoy helping people live lives that “go beyond” their normal routine and into the plans God has for them.

As you flip through the pages of our website, it is my belief you will be inspired and motivated to involvement within the Latin America and Caribbean region. Let us know what you think and how you desire to be involved. We’d be happy to help you!
